Down-Hole Transformers

The down-hole industry requires tools that can operate in harsh conditions. The transformers often require insulation that can withstand 200^oC to 220^oC. Mag-Tran uses Nomex for insulation paper. Furthermore, we design our down-hole transformers conservatively to ensure they will not overheat or begin to breakdown. This helps to improve the life of the transformer. Furthermore, Mag-Tran has experience designing transformers rated for numerous shock levels, temperatures, and sizes.
